The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Hi, my name is Tilda, and I’m creating this GoFundMe and running a half marathon in Newcastle on the 7th of September 2025. Someone very close to my heart as well as my best friend—my little sister—has autism. Watching her grow up has shown me how beautiful, unique, and at times challenging her world can be. She inspires me every day with her strength, but I’ve also seen firsthand how much support and understanding families like ours truly need.

Whether it’s therapy, special education programs, or just creating environments where kids like my sister can thrive, support for autism is something that changes lives. I want to raise funds to help provide better resources for her and others like her—whether that’s through local programs, sensory-friendly tools, or contributing to autism awareness efforts.

This page is about love, support, and making a difference for kids with autism and their families. Anything you can give or share means the world to me. Thank you for helping me support my sister and others on the spectrum.
