The Duchenne Dash is Duchenne UK's annual signature VIP cycling event. Over the past 11 years, the Dash has grown into our biggest and most challenging fundraising event of the year and has raised more than £7million for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research (DMD).

An example of the vital work the Duchenne Dash funds is research to treat cardiomyopathy, a heart condition associated with DMD which involves cardiac fibrosis, arrhythmias, and heart failure. Thanks to the Duchenne Dashers, Duchenne UK is funding research to identify markers of cardiac fibrosis in the blood which will allow for better diagnosis and management of it.

The Duchenne Dash will take place on 8-9 May 2026.

Your journey will start at the Herne Hill Velodrome, South East London, working your way down the country to Newhaven and boarding the overnight ferry to Dieppe. You'll get the chance to rest before getting straight back on the
