Everyone has reasons for donating and raising money for charities close to their hearts. I like to think my dad will be patting my back in spirit throughout the 100 holes. Around the very course I played as a junior member with him, my home course and favourite place, Birstall Golf Club.
For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.
