Story
We lost Mum in August 2025, six months after her cancer diagnosis. She was loved and will be missed by her children, grandchildren, brothers, wider family and her many friends.
During her final weeks, we were extremely grateful for the care and comfort provided by the Hospice at Home team from the Macmillan Unit, Christchurch Hospital, the very same unit that also looked after Dad during his final weeks back in 2014.
In Mum’s memory, I will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2026, raising money for Macmillan Caring Locally.
Macmillan Caring Locally is a charity that provides a wide variety of needs supporting the NHS, primarily for the Macmillan Unit but also for other Cancer sufferers in South East Dorset and West Hampshire.
