I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for Age UK Lambeth – a local charity that’s been supporting older people, their families and carers for over 70 years. Their mission is to help older people in Lambeth live enriched, purposeful lives by tackling loneliness, challenging the stigma of ageing, and making sure everyone gets the support they need.

From friendly phone calls to social clubs and home visits, Age UK Lambeth is a lifeline for so many. People like Doris, who hadn’t seen anyone in weeks until a volunteer reached out. Or Frank, who found connection again through a local walking group.

Growing older shouldn’t mean growing isolated. With your help, we can make sure it doesn’t.
