In March 2024 my wonderful niece Abigail Ford died at the age of 10, following a three year battle with neuroblastoma. She was a total maniac - full of energy and sass and we miss her every day.

On the 18 May I'm going to run the Riga half marathon to raise money for the Children's Cancer Research Fund - a small but amazing charity focused on early-stage children's cancer research, without which critical breakthroughs in treatment and diagnosis just wont happen.

I wouldn't ask someone to make a donation to something I wouldn't, so have got the ball rolling.

Like lots of other children with neuroblastoma, Abi's diagnosis came way too late and by that point the outlook wasn't great, and the treatments really harsh. Research is the only thing that will change that for others, so if you can, please give a donation and share this with others!
