Why I’m taking part in the Big Sleep Out
On Friday 20th March, I’ll be sleeping out at St James Park, the home of Exeter City FC, as part of the Big Sleep Out in support of Exeter City Community Trust.
By spending one night out in the cold, I’m helping to raise awareness and vital funds for the Trust’s Supported Housing Service, which supports people in our local community who are experiencing homelessness or rough sleeping.
The service provides safe, temporary accommodation and personalised support to help individuals rebuild confidence, develop life skills, and move towards independent living. For many, this support is the first step towards long-term stability.
I’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation, big or small, helps make a real difference:
£17.40 can provide a safe bed for a night
£20 can provide essential starter items
£30.49 can cover a week of utilities
Thank you for supporting me and our community
