London to Amsterdam 2025
Campaign by GroceryAid (RCN 1095897)
On Wednesday 3rd September 2025, 180 grocery colleagues will be cycling from London to Amsterdam raising awareness and vital funds for their industry charity, GroceryAid.

Story

A few months ago, as I approached my 50th birthday, I decided that I needed a challenge, so I signed up for something that would really test me and push me hard…

Cycling 350km. London to Amsterdam. 3 days.

I didn’t even have a bike.

Next week, after buying some cycling kit, borrowing my brothers bike and training hard, I will be part of the HARIBO team of 10 cyclists riding to raise money for GroceryAid.

GroceryAid is an amazing charity that supports colleagues and their families from the food industry in a broad range of ways, from counselling and legal advice, to financial support in times of hardship.

Last year, demand for their help surged by 93%, and they supported over 78,000 people.

I’d really appreciate your sponsorship and supporting me in this challenge.

Cheers

Matt
