Story
Join me in raising funds for the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity, which works to enhance the care and treatment of patients at the Royal Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch Hospitals.
This is a cause that is close to me, with members of my family having been supported by this hospital group in their lives.
Most recently my mother was admitted into Bournemouth hospital after suffering a stroke - this was a scary time as we saw it happening in front of our eyes - but with the quick response of our amazing ambulance service and then the treatment she received at Bournemouth hospital she went on to make a full recovery. I have asked for my donations to go to the Stroke unit at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital so that they can keep providing the amazing care that they provide.
This will be the biggest fitness challenge I have ever attempted, I have been training for this since the start of June and am looking to complete the half marathon in a time of around 2:30, but hoping to be closer to 2 hours.
Your support can help provide improved facilities, cutting-edge equipment, and vital resources to promote the health, wellbeing, and development of NHS staff.
Here’s how your contribution can make a difference:
£5: Could provide a meal for a carer who cannot leave their loved one’s bedside.
£10: Could fund activities like colouring books and pens for patients with dementia.
£50: Could help purchase the latest specialist medical equipment to improve patient care.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact!
