Along with my brilliant colleagues Lucy and Jan, I’m taking on the Great Eastern Run on 11th October to raise funds and awareness for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

In my role as Media and PR Manager, I have the privilege of speaking to families receiving care from EACH, and it never ceases to amaze me what a life-changing difference the charity makes. Hearing their stories is both humbling and inspiring, and it makes me incredibly proud to work for such a special organisation.

Many people are familiar with our hospice in Milton, but not everyone realises we also provide care in homes, schools and community settings across Peterborough. The Great Eastern Run is one of the city's best-known events, making it the perfect opportunity to raise awareness of the services available locally. If taking part helps even one family discover they're eligible for support, every step will have been worthwhile.
