I've signed up to run the Liverpool Half Marathon (17/03/2024) hoping to raise some funds for St Paul's Eye Research Foundation.

In the last year, the Research Foundation has given over £500,000 to support research conducted in St Paul's Eye Unit and the Department of Eye Vision Science, University of Liverpool.

This money was raised by grateful patients, their families and supporters. Without their support, this research to prevent sight loss simply wouldn't happen. I know through my own work how impactful a diagnosis of sight loss is to patients and their loved ones, and this makes all of us at St Paul's even more determined to go that extra mile for them - in my case 13.1 miles.
