Team: Walk for Issy

South Coast Ultra Challenge 2026 · 5 September 2026 to 6 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Our beautiful 13 year old daughter, and Jamie's beloved sister, Issy passed away this year in January from a brain tumour after a 4 year illness. Issy was a remarkable young lady both before and during her illness, and inspired many, many people by how she just got on with enjoying life, whatever it threw at her. We are hugely proud of her and will forever miss her.

We are partnering with The Brain Tumour Charity to help raise funding for research into better diagnosis, treatments and cures for Brain Tumours, an area which is hugely underfunded, despite taking more lives of those under 40 in the UK than any other type of cancer.

We have decided to start our fundraising by undertaking a 100km continuous walk along the Southdown's Way, with some family and friends, as part of the 2026 South Coast Ultra Challenge on the 5th of September.

Every penny helps so any donations would be hugely appreciated.

Matt
