Story

Burundi is really struggling.
It has the tragic statistic of having the lowest GDP/person of all the nations on the earth https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/the-poorest-countries-in-the-world.html
The current economic climate is having a disastrous impact on those who are struggling to merely survive.
Great Lakes Outreach (GLO) is a charity founded by my great mate Simon Guillebaud who spent over 20 years there working tirelessly to bring life and hope to this deprived nation. Each year he takes a group of people on the trip of a lifetime to experience Burundi and make a difference.
It's going to be an exhausting eye-opener!
Exhausting as we'll be cycling for seven gruelling days on the stunning roads of Burundi, with an average of 100km/day and a total of 38,000ft elevation tackled.
That's the equivalent of climbing Mt. Everest and then adding two Ben Nevis's in for good measure!
An eye-opener, as we'll have a chance to visit some of the projects and see just what impact our money has on those whose needs are greater than you or I can imagine.

Please sponsor me!
This is my chance to help....a little anyway, by asking you to help me raise money for GLO who work with 25 partner organisations empowering visionary local leaders to transform Burundi through education, sport, business, healthcare and more, bringing hope to thousands of the most vulnerable.
Thank you so much. Matt
