Matter x APEX Everest Challenge for High Performance Foundation

Matter Group is raising money for High Performance Foundation

APEX Everest Challenge · 11 September 2025

The High Performance Foundation exists to enable young people around the globe, no matter their background, to be able to write their own story and believe it’s within.

Story

The Matter team are set to embark on a new challenge to fundraise for the High Performance Foundation!

On the 11th September, Team Matter (Ben, Paul, Josh, Richard and Tilly) will be taking on the APEX Everest Challenge. Between the team we will be walking the equivalent of Mt. Everest on Helvellyn (that's a lot of walking!!)

APEX is the UK’s foremost endurance hiking challenge, where a vibrant community of adventurers seeks to push their limits and conquer their own ‘Everest’. Between us completing 9 summits, each summit is one step closer to this huge achievement.

As Founding Patrons of the High Performance Foundation, we are always wanting to contribute to their great work. Learn more about how our fundraising helps High Performance Foundation:

High Performance Foundation exists to enable young people, no matter their background, to be able to write their own story and believe it’s within.

We help young people develop the skills and tools they need to build resilience today, so they can thrive tomorrow.

Through our High Performance Podcast community, we identified a need to provide young people with better tools and skills needed to build resilience, confidence and well-being.

We are doing this through Game plan; a free personal development resource for schools, like no other.

It brings stories and lessons from the world’s highest performers into secondary schools.

Our resources help to tackle difficult topics which are not adequately covered in the mainstream curriculum and help young people develop the skills they need to thrive.

The High Performance Foundation is an independent charity, supported and powered by High Performance and it’s growing community.
