Story
April 2026 marks my 50th birthday and to mark the occasion I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Coram - adoption support charity. I live in a house of adopted people. My husband and two children, and even my dog are adopted! I know first hand the challenges that many adopted children and adults face and Coram is at the centre of providing support and advocacy for the community. Their work is extensive and far reaching and anyone who has adopted or been adopted will have benefited from it.
Coram is the UK's oldest children's charity and has been at the forefront of children’s social care since 1739. Today, they run one of the largest voluntary adoption agencies; they help children to feel safe and loved; lead healthier lives; they support their education and learning; they protect their legal rights when these are in danger of being ignored; and they strengthen families to help children thrive.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
