Yeldall Manor is a Christian addiction recovery centre near Reading. For over 40 years, they have been helping men to overcome serious drug or alcohol addictions and return to society to live new lives, drug, alcohol and crime free.

I was struck last Autumn as a resident father came and told our church men’s breakfast group of his struggle with addiction and his desire to recover to meet his children again.

So it feels entirely appropriate to ask for donations for this cause to further their work.

As I’ve been doing my training for the Maidenhead Half Marathon on Sunday 26th October I’ve run out to Hare Hatch (where the charity is based) as a ‘far point’ to reach as a goal - and I hope you can help me support their work.
