Story
I'm running the TCS London Marathon in 2026 for Aspire.
I’m running the marathon in support of Aspire, a charity dedicated to helping people with spinal cord injuries rebuild their lives.
As a physiotherapist, I have seen first-hand the life-changing impact of a spinal cord injury—not just for the individual, but for their families too. The journey following a diagnosis can be overwhelming, with huge physical, emotional and practical challenges. Aspire provides vital support at every stage, helping people regain independence, adapt to new ways of living, and feel supported through what is often an incredibly difficult time.
This cause is very close to my heart. I understand the importance of early support, rehabilitation, and the role that strong family networks play in recovery and long-term wellbeing. Aspire’s work makes a genuine difference to people when they need it most.
Training for and running this marathon is my way of giving something back. I would be incredibly grateful for any donation, no matter how small, to support this fantastic charity and the life-changing work they do.
Thank you so much for your support.
Every two hours someone is paralysed by a spinal cord injury and there is currently no cure. Your donation is hugely important to Aspire and helps them support hundreds of people every year, so please be generous.
