I’m running the Great North Run again this year for MY Hospitals Charity MRI appeal. The funds raised will contribute to buying the Mid Yorkshire Teaching Trust first state of the art 3 Tesla MRI scanner. This will help deliver excellent care for patients and avoid them having to travel to other hospitals for certain scans.

MY Hospitals Charity is proud to support and enhance the services provided by The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, which provides care to over half a million people every year in their homes, in the community and across our three hospital sites.

The charity's mission is to raise income and manage funds to improve patient care either directly with patients or indirectly via staff. We do this by enhancing the services provided by the Trust and funding additional items of expenditure, which would not otherwise be funded by the NHS.
