Story
Thanks for stopping by. This October, I’m running 125 miles (200 km) to raise funds for Tiny Tickers, a charity that supports babies with heart conditions.
How You Can Help: Your donation will help Tiny Tickers provide essential support and care for families and babies with heart conditions. Every bit helps.
A baby is born with a serious heart condition every two hours in the UK and despite congenital heart disease being one of the biggest killers of infants, only around half of congenital heart defects are picked up during routine prenatal scanning.
Why this matters: With your help Tiny Tickers can provide a safety net for the 1,000 babies each year that leave hospital with their heart defect undetected, increasing detection rates, improving a baby’s chances of survival and long-term quality of life.
Why This Matters to me: My wife Clare and I are expecting our baby boy on November 13th, and he has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart condition.
This run is for him and all babies facing similar challenges.
Thank you! Follow my progress, cheer me on, and share this page with your friends and family.
