Story
Dartmoor Old Skool are back after 35 years! Old Ten Tors Buddy’s from King Edmund School in Yate. Neil Winter, Matthew Foster, Steve Churchill, Emma Langhorn (Fletcher) and myself (Claire Skuse/Jackson) make up the dream team!
We are teaming up to raise vital funds for Marie Curie to support the incredible work they do.
This amazing team are walking in memory of my Dad, Peter ‘Jacko’ Jackson. A very much loved husband, dad, grandad and friend. Also a highly respected member of the local football community, in particular Yate Town Football Club.
On the 11th October 2026 our incredible team will take on 14 mile trail across 13 Tors of Dartmoor, navigating this historic land of myths and legends and the inspiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyles classic Hound of the Baskervilles.
Beat the Trails for Marie Curie and help people get the best care possible, to the end.
All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.
£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.
£26 helps help fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or webchat.
£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
