Nila Rose Hale, was born in August 2023 and is now 18 months old.

In December 2023, Nila was diagnosed with Wilms Tumours, a form of kidney cancer. She began treatment at Noah’s Ark Children's Hospital in Cardiff that same month, which included weekly chemotherapy. Since then, she has undergone numerous procedures and surgeries—too many to count—but her resilience has been incredible. Thanks to her positive response to treatment, Nila was able to undergo surgery in March 2024. She had surgery on both kidneys at Birmingham Children's Hospital and is now continuing post-surgery treatment. Nila’s chemotherapy will continue until January 2025, and she will need regular monitoring as part of her recovery.

Leigh and Sam (Nila's mum and dad) are close friends of mine and watching them persevere through these tough times with such resilience and positivity, has been humbling and given me something to aspire to.

These guys are absolute legends in my eyes!

To show my gratitude to one of the charities that have helped Nila, myself, Leigh and Luke are aiming to tackle this challenge to support this amazing Charity that have stood by Leigh, Sam and the family through this past year.
