Story
I'm beating the trails for Marie Curie in memory of my grandma, Bernadette. I'll be walking 21-miles across the Gower coastline and I can't wait, knowing every step taken is helping Marie Curie nurses provide more end of life care, whatever the illness.
I'm really excited for this challenge. In a world where we're always looking down at our phones, or at our computer screen, it's always great to get to look up, put the phone away and just take in an incredible experience!
Marie Curie is the UK's leading end of life charity and they need your support to do their vital work. So thank you if you are able to donate. It will encourage me to get to the finish line - apparently there'll be a hot cuppa and a pastie waiting for me! There's more info on Marie Curie below, or check them out online. And thank you!
Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
