In Celebration of Ella

Our team heard about Ella Lynchs battle with cancer and her love of football. Following the heart breaking news of her passing. Our team were keen to undertake an event in her memory, to celebrate her life and her love of football.

The Event

On Sunday 17th May our team will be undertaking their very own Leeds relay Marathon. Each of our players will run laps of our local football pitch, with the encouragement of their team mates. Each player will run approximately 1-2 miles, totalling 26.2 miles at the finish line.

This isn't about world records, this is about celebrating Ella's love of football and her positive mentality.

Candlelighters

The team will be raising money for Candlelighters who supported Ella and her family. Candlelighters are not just a charity. They are a lifeline, the bright sparks of hope in the darkest days for child and their families.
