Story

From Couch to Marathon for MK SNAP

I haven't run for a year, I'm out of shape and heavier than I have ever been but now I’m training for the 2026 London Marathon to raise £3,000 for MK SNAP, a charity that does extraordinary work supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

MK SNAP isn’t just a centre — it’s a community where people are seen, supported, and empowered. Through education, life skills, and work training, they give learners the confidence to thrive, not just survive. They turn potential into progress with joy, care, and dignity at the heart of everything they do.

As a trustee of MK SNAP I am really excited and privilleged to have been given this opportunity to raise money for such a worthwhile community.

If you can give, thank you. If you can share, I’m grateful. And if you’re cheering from the sidelines, I’ll be so pleased to see you.

Thank you.
