Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Loch Ness Marathon on 29th September 2024 to raise money for Headway.

Headway is a charity in Salford, Trafford and North Manchester providing information, support and social activities for people suffering from brain injuries. Headway also supports carers, family and friends. It is a very worthy cause and your donation will help to make a real difference to many people's lives.

How your donation will help...

£10 allows Headway to run their suite of online communities for an hour, giving close to 100,000 followers a safe space to support each other with the daily struggles they face living with brain injury.

£50 will pay for a day's operation of Headway's website, helping more than 2,500 people to get much-needed information and support.

£60 covers the cost of a 30-minute call with one of Headway's nurse-led helpline team.

£350 would allow Headway to print 200 brain injury booklets to help families cope with the aftermath of a brain injury.

Your donation may contribute towards a family respite break or pay for new clothing for someone who has gained or lost weight as a result of their brain injury.

I am by no means a runner and so this marathon will be a huge challenge for me. Any donation, no matter how small, will be very worthwhile and will motivate me during my training and on the day. Thank you!
