Story
Lewy body dementia is the most common type of dementia you have never heard of.
The Lewy Body Society was founded in 2006 to support research into Lewy body dementia and to raise awareness of the disease. They aim to educate the public, the medical professions and those in decision-making positions about the disease, which unfortunately is still not well known and mis-diagnosed.
My family have personal experience of this having lost my dear Father-in-law, Ron Harris, to Lewy Body Dementia in the early days of the Covid lockdown in Spring 2020.
I would be very grateful for any donations that you would care to make in his memory towards research into this little known disease.
