Story
We’re proud to confirm that JTM Service will once again be taking part in Simon’s Big Sleep Out, raising vital funds to support people at risk of homelessness in our communities around Leeds and Bradford.
This year’s event takes place on Thursday 9th October 2025, World Homeless Day and our team members Paul Wood, Leanne Davies, David Ogden, Nathan McKechnie, Sharron Tiffany, Andy Churchouse and Matt Hutton will be spending the night out in the elements in Leeds city centre.
While we know this one night doesn’t replicate the full reality of homelessness, it’s a powerful act of solidarity that helps shine a light on the trauma, isolation, and challenges that many people face and raises essential funds for those working on the front line.
We’ve set a goal to raise at least £1,500 in support of Simon on the Streets, an independent charity offering unlimited, person-centred support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Unlike many services, Simon on the Streets doesn’t impose time limits. They recognise that real change takes time, and provide support for as long as someone needs it, whether that means helping to access accommodation, healthcare (including mental health services), addiction support, or working through trauma with specialist services.
The people they support are often hidden, isolated, and overlooked. Simon on the Streets not only provides practical help but also offers vital emotional support, helping people rebuild their lives with dignity, compassion, and stability.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps make a lasting impact. If you’d like to support our fundraising efforts for this important cause.
Thank you for standing with Simon on The Streets and JTM Service in the fight against homelessness in 2025.
Team JTM Service ✨
