In April 2026, Jonny Wright and myself will be part of a small group embarking on an incredible journey to trek to Everest Base Camp, standing tall at 5,364 meters high. Our mission is to raise much-needed funds for a remarkable local charity, St Mary's Hospice in Ulverston. This charity holds a special place in the hearts of many families, including our own. Your support and donations, no matter how large or small, would be immensely appreciated.

St Mary's Hospice is a cornerstone of our community, providing dedicated care, comfort, love, and support to patients and their families—whether in the hospice itself or at home. The compassionate staff continue to offer their incredible support long after the initial care has been provided. This trek will undoubtedly be our biggest mental and physical challenge yet, undertaken in memory of dear friends and colleagues who received exceptional care from the hospice during their time of need.

Our personal goal is to raise at least £5,000 for St Mary's Hospice. I want to assure you that every penny raised will go directly to this vital cause as we are covering all costs associated with our trip ourselves.
