Matthew's fundraiser for Bliss London Marathon 2025

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
This year, I’m taking on the challenge of a lifetime—running my very first Marathon in London! Why oh why did i wait until i'm 40, it hurts just walking down the stairs these days let alone running a marathon.
It’s going to be 26.2 miles of determination, sweat, and (probably) a few blisters, but I’m doing it for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart: Bliss—a charity dedicated to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick has the best possible start in life.
As many of you know my own children were born prematurely and needed neonatal intensive care (NICU) support when they came into the world. I’ve also seen firsthand how vital this care is for friends and colleagues whose babies needed NICU support.
Nobody ever expects to need these charities—but when you do, you are incredibly grateful they are there during some of the most uncertain times. Bliss provides essential support for parents, funds life-changing research, and fights for better neonatal care across the UK, helping thousands of families just like mine.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference. If you’d like to support me on this journey, please consider contributing—together, we can give more babies the best chance to thrive.
Thank you for your generosity and encouragement!
