I’m fundraising for The Message Trust, an amazing charity doing critical, life-changing work with people who are facing some of the toughest battles in life. Their mission to bring hope and transformation to those most in need is something I’m deeply passionate about.

This challenge is also very personal for me—nine years ago, just after completing my first Message Cycle challenge in South Africa, I suffered a cardiac arrest while cycling and, by all accounts, I shouldn’t have survived. But the Lord had a different plan. While I’m still on a journey of recovery from the brain injury it caused, I’m determined to push myself—mentally and physically—to complete this 9-day, 1000km ride, the biggest physical challenge of my life.
