Supporting Rainbow’s End – A Girls’ Hostel Project by El Shaddai Charitable Trust

Walking the Thames Path for a Cause · 12 September 2025
This September, I am setting out on a life-changing journey—walking the entire 148-mile (237 km) Thames Path, from Kemble in Gloucestershire to Hampton Court Palace in Surrey, England, for two weeks.
I’m undertaking this challenge not just for personal growth, but to raise awareness and funds for Rainbow’s End, a project of El Shaddai Charitable Trust.
Rainbow’s End is a dedicated girls’ hostel aimed at providing a safe, nurturing environment for girls pursuing their education. Many of these young women come from vulnerable backgrounds, and your support will help give them a stable foundation, emotional security, and a real opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty.
The Thames has historically been a route of connection, trade, and transformation, much like the mission of this project—to connect caring people like you to girls who need a future full of hope. The river flows through some of England’s most culturally rich and historically significant areas, reminding us how even long, winding paths can lead to lasting change.
Your donation—big or small—will go directly towards:
~Building infrastructure for the Rainbow’s End Hostel
~Supporting the girls' daily needs, education, and mental well-being
~Ensuring long-term safety and empowerment
