In memory of Luke Sawkins

Thames 25k Walk · 1 July 2025

Live Luke’s Dreams is a small charity created in honour of a little boy called Luke. We aim to keep Luke's memory alive whilst supporting the wellbeing of children who have been diagnosed with a childhood cancer, and are receiving treatment under Barnet Hospital's paediatric oncology shared care. From gifts during hospital stays, memory making days out, weekends away, financial support and many other things inbetween. The support we offer is as individual as the families we offer it to.

Story

This year, we are incredibly proud to be holding a very special event in memory of Luke, who sadly passed away from leukaemia. While we have marked this occasion in previous years, this is the first time we are inviting our entire school community—from our youngest in the Nest to Year 7 walking in Regent’s Park and the Year 8s walking close to 25k along the Thames.

It promises to be a truly memorable day, filled with energy, remembrance, and unity. We are walking not just to honour Luke’s memory, but also to raise funds for a remarkable North London charity that supports families and individuals facing unimaginable challenges. Their work changes lives, and with your help, we can make a real difference.

We would be so grateful for any support you can offer—whether that’s cheering us on, making a donation, or simply helping us spread the word.

Together, step by step, we walk for Luke.
