In 2022 my grandad passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Now I have another grandparent also suffering from the disease, so unfortunately I have first hand experience of how it affects those who suffer from it and their loved ones.

In an attempt to raise some money for this worthwhile cause, Lizzy and I thought we'd challenge ourselves and give a half marathon a go!

For anyone who has ever played any kind of land based sport with me you will know how slow I am at running, so this could be a struggle...
