From 2pm on Tuesday 23rd July to 2pm on Saturday 27th July I will be running 4k every 4 hours for a total of 4 days

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

As some of you may or may not know my Dad got diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2023. Since then he has been doing amazing and has continued working and making tremendous progress. None of this would have been possible without the help of the Parkinson's UK charity, specifically the branch in Derry based in St Columb's Park House. They have given my dad and my mum terrific support in the early stages of understanding his diagnosis and how best to navigate life post Parkinson's diagnosis. I now want to give a bit back to this amazing charity and do my bit to help get one stage closer to finding a cure for Parkinson's. Thats why I have decided to run 4k every 4 hours for 4 days from 23rd-27th July. Everyday people with Parkinson's wake up and have to decide to fight and I want to show them how inspirational that fight is and that we are all fighting with them. So please if you can donate, every £1 counts, and if you fancy doing a run with me please reach out I'll be throwing all the information all over my social media so feel free to get in touch.
