Matthew's fundraiser for Sheriffs' & Recorder's Fund

Matthew Molloy is raising money for Sheriffs' & Recorder's Fund

HMP Wandsworth Livery Lenten Sponsored Prison Walk · 1 March 2026

A 200 year-old charity helping London's ex-prisoners and their families with grants for training and welfare.

Story

In March 2026, I will be taking part in the HMP Wandsworth Livery Lenten Sponsored Prison Walk - part of a series of six sponsored walks starting or ending at different London prisons to support the Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund. The Fund provides vital support to prisoner leavers and prison-based rehabilitation projects.

This walk will be led by Honorary Secondary of the Old Bailey and organiser of the Old Bailey’s Knife Crime Outreach Programmes, Fiona Adler. Accompanying walkers will include member(s) of staff of HMP Wandsworth, Rev Jo Davies, previously Prison Chaplain, of HMP Pentonville, Luke Carlson of London City Mission, The Sheriffs of London and their consorts.

Each participant is asked to raise £1,000 by securing 100 sponsors, each contributing a minimum of £10. I’d be hugely grateful for your donations to support this cause and help offer hope and second chances to those who need them most.

Many thanks for your support.
