This April, I’m running the Manchester Marathon and will be raising money for The Christie Charity.

The Christie in Manchester is one of the world’s leading cancer centres, caring for over 60,000 patients each year. The charity funds vital cancer research, advanced treatments, specialist equipment, patient support services and education.

This cause is particularly close to home. Members of my own family have received care from The Christie, and my Mum now works there, so I see first-hand the incredible work the staff do to support patients and their families.
