Brighton Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 ·

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m running the Brighton marathon in support of my mum, Sue, who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2022. Myeloma is an incurable blood cancer that occurs in the bone marrow and it can cause pain, easily broken bones, fatigue and can lead to recurring infections around the body. Since my mums diagnosis, life’s chosen a journey for her, one in which, us as her support system, must help her navigate through. My journey is with my mum and this I know is the next step. To raise awareness and raise money for the amazing charity who do and will continue to research the disease and hopefully one day find a cure. I have a year to train and prepare for the run, which I will start immediately.

Please help contribute to this cause if you can, and help me show my mum how much of an inspiration she is to is all around her.

I will be setting up a page on all socials to document my journey from day one, to the day of the race.

Thankyou for your support.
