On Sunday 26th May 2024 I will be joining #TeamOracle to take part in the iconic Ford RideLondon-Essex 100.

The centrepiece of the world’s greatest festival of cycling, the 100-mile challenge is one of the UK’s most famous challenge rides and gives riders a unique opportunity to cycle on traffic-free roads through some of the most famous streets of London and the picturesque villages and countryside of neighbouring Essex.

Through raising vital funds #TeamOracle is part of the RACE to overcome the Head and Neck cancer crisis, by funding RESEARCH, raising AWARENESS, working COLLABORATIVELY and improving the patient EXPERIENCE.

I am setting this just giving page up on a day when we are having to remove a patients voice box and part of their tongue and then to reconstruct. I have been undertaking this operation for the last 13 years. I hope that through research in this field we may be able to avoid this and many other debilitating operations for our future generations to come.
