I will be running the Zig Zag Running - Kirtling Route (near Newmarket) on the 11th May 2025 at 9.00am.

I'm doing this to raise money for a small community based charity - Suffolk Sight. They do incredible work to improve the lives of children and adults affected by sight loss throughout Suffolk.

Eva was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2020 and had has been on a painful journey with this. It looked like things were going well but recently she had a setback to recovery.

I bumped into Eva and her mum Tori last month and they told me what had happened. Eva also suggested that I do this for Suffolk Sight as they are not well supported. Suffolk Sight provided support to Eva whilst she adjusted to her sight loss. They have been with her and her family from the beginning, at diagnosis and then through the whole journey, by providing information and helping them cope and adapt to the changing situation.

I was resolved then and there to do something and they suggested that I could do one more marathon!

Its been over 4 years since I last completed a marathon, and though I've reached the dizzy age of 50, I'm going to give this a go! You can see why I'm doing this, so please help and donate! Any money raised will help support other families in similar situations.
