Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sadly, Cancer has simply destroyed my family and friends in the last three years.

My Uncle Paul (Banks), sadly passed away in December 2020.

My Father in Law Jim Sudell, passed away in July 2023.

One of my best mates, Walter Jones passed away in November 2023.

Rosemere Cancer Foundation were there for both Jim and Walter, sadly my Uncle Paul passed away in Hospital.

In memory of Paul, Jim and Walter, and many more lost to Cancer recently, I am raising money for Rosemere by completing seven Ironman events in six months.

1. Ironman Lanzarote – Full Ironman 18th May 2024.

2. Ironman 70.3 Nice, France – half distance Ironman 16th June 2024.

3. Ironman 70.3 Bolton, UK - half distance Ironman 30th June 2024.

4. Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain – Full Ironman 14th July 2024.

5. Ironman 70.3 Austria – half distance Ironman 1st September 2024.

6. Ironman Barcelona, Spain – Full distance Ironman – 6th October 2024.

7. Ironman 70.3 Marbella, Spain - half distance Ironman 27th October 2024.

70.3 races are 1.2-mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13 mile half marathon.

Full races are 2.4 mile sea swim, 112 mile bike ride & 26 mile marathon.

A big thank you to my sponsors who have made this challenge possible - 4th Industrial, Nori Financial, Graham & Sibbald, Contract Services, DLA Piper, Cushman & Wakefield, A Surman Building Contractors & GIA Surveyors.

I'm hoping I remain injury free and manage to get over the finish line in Puerto Banús. My Wife, Mother and Mother in Law all want me to retire but who knows where 2025 might take me! Feel free to meet me at the finish line at any of the events!

If you are able to support me, it is greatly appreciated and the Reith/Sudell/Banks/Jones families, also thank you very much.

Thank you for reading, feel free to pomp your horns or shout at me if you see me training, better still join me either swimming, on the bike or out running.
