Story
On June 20th we will be participating in the Wolverhampton to Aberdyfi cycle challenge to raise much needed funds for Blood Bikes Wales in memory of our beloved Martin.
This charity is very close to our hearts as it was a fundamental service which Mart heavily relied on during his short illness.
Blood bikers in Wales are unpaid volunteers who provide a free of charge service to the NHS by transporting blood, plasma, medication and other essential medical products.
As a family and friends wanted to do something to raise awareness of what a fantastic service this charity provides, especially as we live in a rural area where resources are not on our doorstep.
Word soon got around our small town that we were going to do this bike ride, and we have once again been overwhelmed with support from relatives and close friends who are joining us on this journey.
It is estimated that the bike ride takes approximately 10 hours to complete and covers 105 miles. We would appreciate anything you can give towards this essential charity and any support of encouragement to help us complete the challenge. A breeze from behind would also be most welcome (fingers crossed).
Thanks everyone
