We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

6 years ago my father was diagnosed with a severe case of Bowel cancer which like so many people today was devastating news to us all. However my father stood strong in the face of what he was up against and became one of if not they bravest man I have ever seen.

After 5 years of constant battle, in and out of hospital and chemotherapy, in June of 2022 my father passed away when I was just age 16. Eviserated by this I hid myself away falling into a dark time in my life where even thoughts of ending it all came to my head. But with the help of my amazing family, Winston's Wishes & Maggie's Cancer Support I was able to get my life back on track.

It has been just over a year since my fathers death and now I am finally in a good place to want to make a change, so I will be competing in the 2024 Ironman Wales at age just 18 to raise money and awareness for all the children out there who are going through and have been through what I have and like I did feel alone and broken.

Please donate whatever you can to help these causes to stop another child like me feeling alone when he is at his worst.

This one's for you Dad. x
