Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit the TBC.London JustGiving page.

The 13th to 19th May 2024 is “Mental Health Awareness Week” and we know that being active is important for our mental health, but so many of us struggle to get enough exercise. We know there are many different reasons for this, so this Mental Health Awareness Week we our site team, customer, and supply chain partners are going to walk a half marathon on Monday 13th May in order to raise funds for “Mind”.

This charity is close to at least several of our team members hearts with their family being greatly assisted by them in the past and therefore we are very happy to come together as a unit to support this charity.

As part of its social and community investment commitment, Willmott Dixon, wants to back the personal causes of the people who work for the Company. A contribution will therefore be made to Mind charity from The Willmott Dixon Foundation for every donation made through this ‘JustGiving’ page. Please be assured that your contribution to my fundraising will reach my charity.

Those taking part in the event will include members from FORE Partnership (Client and Developer of TBC.London), Savills (Property Managers), ECE (Architects), RLB (Project Manager & Quantity Surveyors), Colourminium (Facade Contractor), and Q Flow (Tracking our Project Embodied Carbon).

We have selected a route which starts at FORE Partnership and finishes at our project TBC.London taking along some of the many famous landmarks throughout our half marathon journey. Throughout the day we will be taking the time to get ‘selfies’ at the various landmarks which we hope you will enjoy and with what is likely to be about 5 hours of walking together as a group we’ll be looking to collectively chat about some of the challenges we or others might have faced over our careers and how we can go about to support each other and others who we will encounter in our lives to contribute to a more understanding and inclusive society.
