I am currently fund raising for the Bradford Burns Unit.

It is 40 years since I was kept alive by Professor David Sharpe OBE.

He needed to carry out experiments on me, if I was to have a chance at survival. Those experiments worked and along with the work he carried out on others in a similar position to me, provided the initial starting point for the BCFC Burns unit. From that day forward, thousands of people around the world have benefited from the cutting edge research that the unit continues to provide.

I have recently taken part in several new television programs, due to be aired on or around the anniversary on May 11th 2025. With each one, I have reminded people about the burns unit and the good work that they continue to carry out for the benefit of the world.
