Story
Our Managing director Matt has volunteered to raise money for the Jessie May charity and the 2025 London marathon and last week had the amazing news he has been offered a place
Matt has done a few half marathons before but never a full marathon so the training starts now
This really is an amazing charity that he would love to raise as much as possible for, any support however small would mean a lot to me and Jessie may
Everyone at AMI Electrical would like to wish Matt the best in his training and raising as much money for Jessie May as possible
Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home is a charity that provides exceptional palliative care and support to children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, in their own homes. Currently supporting around 180 families across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset, as well as Swindon & Wiltshire
Over the last decade, more and more children have been referred to Jessie May than ever before. Their medical needs have become ever more complex and as a result, the clinical care Jessie May nurses provide is becoming more specialist, especially at end-of-life. Jessie May also provide bereavement support to the family when their child dies.
Today our team of nurses delivering care in the home stands at 16, to fund just 1 of them costs from £41,000.
They have been providing free specialist at home support since 1996, and it is only through the generosity of supporters that they can continue to be there for families.
