My mum was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma a few years ago. She faced it with courage and without letting it define her. Heartbreakingly we lost her earlier this year and life has felt very different ever since.

At a time when everything felt and overwhelming, Lymphoma Action provided my Mum with support, guidance and the chance to connect with others who understood what she was going through.

So to make it all about me I decided to sign up for the 2026 London Marathon. 26.2 miles is going to be a huge challenge for me but obviously it’s nothing compared to what people living with lymphoma go through every day.

It will be an honour to run in memory of my Mum and to raise money for Lymphoma Action so they can continue their life-changing work.
