We believe that no life should be half lived. 1 in 5 people in Scotland are struggling with a chest, heart or stroke condition. We won't live with that. Join us to support people to live life to the full. #NoLifeHalfLived

Story

My names, Matthew Horner, im 27, from Swindon, England, and have recently re-located to Edinburgh, Scotland.

This year I'm setting myself a challenge, both for personal fitness and for a great cause, and this is the story behind why...

In 2016, I lost my Father unexpectedly to a heart attack... We were incredibly close and still too this day, I miss him and his humour dearly! This was a time in life that was overwhelming challenging and led to many a year of what was total and utter abuse of my body.. Something I'm not ashamed of, and an event that created who I am today, however, a period, that was perhaps somewhat damaging and should have been looked at and dealt with much sooner than was.

Years later, the strongest woman I know suffered a stroke... my Mother.

As many know, me and my Mum are as tight as a knot.. as close as it could get, and although I'm no longer in Swindon, if I need her, or she needs me... it's happening!

This is why I'm proud to step into the ring and pour my heart and soul out for cause important to many!

Please let's raise funds, raise hope, raise a glass for my Father, and (hopefully) raise my hand in glory. All for a cause important to many!

Any donations greatly appreciated!

On Behalf of the Horner family.. Thankyou!
