Well we did it. 1000m elevation! The downs were more brutal than the ups. The scenery was breathtaking and the organisers could not have been more helpful.

We get to say that we were the first Edinburgh Trail Escape competitors as this was the very first time this race has been run.

Kev, Oli & I cannot thank everyone enough for their generosity and words of encouragement.

As hard on our bodies as this race was, Oli & I feel privileged to be healthy and fit enough to have run it.
