Story
The YMCA is a charity that is incredibly close to my heart. I have worked and volunteered with YMCA for several years and have seen first hand the life changing impact they have on local communities.
I have watched young people walk through their doors at rock bottom, facing homelessness, struggling with their mental health or feeling completely lost, and leave with hope, stability and a future. Through mental health support, housing and career advice, and a truly holistic approach to care, YMCA helps people rebuild their lives from the ground up in a safe environment.
YMCA also works tirelessly to ensure young people’s voices are heard in government, helping to shape policy and drive social change so that future generations have better opportunities.
They are not just a homelessness charity. They provide support from cradle to later life, standing alongside the most vulnerable people in our community when they need it most.
The YMCA are change makers. They are life savers.
Every donation, no matter the size, has the power to change and even save someone’s life.
