Matt's Challenge

Matt Neason is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

The Brain Tumour Charity are the world's leading charity dedicated to research into brain tumours. Our mission is to save and improve the lives of those affected by brain tumours, develop new treatments and drive urgent change.

Story

As many of you may know, I faced a bit of a challenge when I had a brain tumour removed in October 2023. This experience changed my perspective on life and really showed the importance of fitness and good health. Since then, I have been fortunate to have clear scans, and long may they continue!

In my path to recovery, I participated in the 100 mile Ride London event to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity. This incredible organisation is dedicated to saving and improving lives by funding vital research into brain tumours. Their commitment to finding new treatments and providing support is crucial for everyone affected.

Looking ahead, I have decided to sign up for the London Marathon on 26th April 2026, and the Swim Serpentine event on 19th September 2026!

Completing these challenges will allow me to finish the London Classics challenge—a trio of events that includes London's best swim, ride, and run events in what is quite a drawn out triathlon.

I would greatly appreciate any donations to support this goal. Your generous donations will not only support my participation but also contribute directly to The Brain Tumour Charity's life-saving work. Every contribution counts and brings us closer to a world where no one has to face a brain tumour alone. Together, we can make a difference! Thank you for your support!
